About

My love of art initially started many years ago with drawing wildlife. With this passion came an attention to detail with graphite pencil, completely self-taught. A career change due to injury and illness forced me to step out of my comfort zone and start painting full-time from my studio in the market town of Retford. This is where my love of landscape painting flourished and continues to progress, as I develop new techniques with oil and acrylic. The highlight of my artistic career so far was being involved with Sky Arts Landscape of the Year 2026 at Keswick as a wildcard.
